What Are You Thinking About?

This week I took a step back and reflected at my thoughts and my thought-pattern....and want to share some of those insights with you:

* Self-improvement is not about Self-Absorption;
* Give up the need to impress anyone;
* Let go the idea of wanting to impress anyone;

In a nutshell that means Be Yourself!
Simply be REAL and GENUNE.

Which thoughts are supporting YOUR Success?
Which thoughts are self-defeating and foster failure?

Don't Pretend you are someone you're not.
Don't feel ashamed.

BE AWARE of the NOISE and CLUTTER, maybe even the CHAOS inside your mind! According to the National Science Foundation, the average person thinks about 12'000 thoughts per day while awake. Deep thinkers have as many as 50'000 thoughts per day. Subtract 8 hours for sleeping, that's about a thought per second! Now, that's a lot of noise!

So many people fear what won't happen ... and that's 87% of one's thoughts. Wow, 60% is not even real, yet we tend to worry and fear!! Maybe you fear the consequences. If that's the case let's look at changing your thought process.

What are YOU thinking about?
Show up to serve others and the Universe will greatly reward you.
Maintain an attitude of serving others in your heart, but not to be a servant.
Can you recognize your own talent or do you put yourself down?
Appreciate yourself for what you do and who you are.
Do you take on tasks that you later regret?
What motivates you? Find something that'll really turn you on and go for it.

Take Your Strengths and build on them... maximize. That way, your weaknesses (and we all have them) will appear to diminish. Build on your natural talent. You can literally step back, listen to your intuition and internal dialogue and take charge of your life. You can make well informed choices that support your success. You must have courage. This is what makes YOU uniquely human.

You can be aware of your own existence, you can listen to and change your own internal dialogue. This is what we do on our Wednesday Mental Cleanse Program. Are you a procrastinator?
The best way to overcome procrastination is to take action. Do you have someone to whom YOU are accountable and responsible to? If not, find a work-out partner.
