Seizing Your Dream

Grabbing the Opportunity MLM Offers You
by Randy Gage

I just returned from Kiev, Ukraine, where I did a two-day
seminar on network marketing. One of the sessions I did
was titled "Seize Your Dream." And I must say, the 900
people I had in attendance were certainly doing that.

In addition to the many people from all over Ukraine, there
were attendees from Hungary, Latvia, Russia, and all of the
former Russian Republics that I can't spell other than to
tell you they end in "-stan."

These people drove for days, took trains all night, and
sacrificed a small fortune in their money to attend. But
they came with a dream and the determination to live it.

They waited in line for as long as two hours to get their
copies of my books signed. More than a few of which were
published on the street by counterfeiters. But even the
goddamned counterfeiters seize opportunity over there.
They set up tables offering my books in the middle of the
subway station next door to the convention hall, where
most people arrived.

My seminar promoter sent the police to chase them away.
The police reported there was nothing they could do, since
the pirates had taken the time to get all of the necessary
permits!

It reminds me of the situation when I introduced network
marketing in Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, and Bulgaria in
the Nineties. We opened Croatia in the middle of the war
with Serbia. I used to do opportunity meetings at the
Intercontinental Hotel in Zagreb. Some distributors had
to drive 12 hours to attend, because they had to detour
hundreds of miles around Serb occupied territory. The
government introduced a 40 percent tax on cosmetics (our
primary product line) the week we opened.

But none of that stopped these people.

They had spent 40 years under repression, and they weren't
about to let any minor details like that stand in their way.
You still see the same thing in the Asian countries. People
rising from the most difficult conditions to build a
business. Like we always say, "When your dream is big
enough, the facts don't count!"

So how are you doing on following your dream of building a
network marketing organization? Are you seizing the
opportunity you have, or taking it for granted?
